    I'm still alive
Just letting everyone know I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, Myspace kind of made me forget about LJ, but I've also been keeping pretty busy. This past Sunday I did a commercial for Adidas which featured Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics, I almost didn't get in (loooong story...) I'm currently filming "Mutant World", which is a new take on the Mutant Arizona series we filmed. I'm once again playing Gary Hoffman but he's different this time, although still a punk. I also play a recurring role on the web series High Heel Samurai as Agent Pierce Styles, check it out at http://www.highheelsamurai.com Also, I will be making my big screen debut soon in the film "What Doesn't Kill You" which stars Ethan Hawke, Mark Ruffalo, Amanda Peet, and Donnie Wahlberg (yes, *that* Donnie Wahlberg.) I play a prison inmate but don't have any lines as I'm not part of SAG. I have an interesting story about the experience but I'm saving it for when the film comes out :) Earlier this year I decided to try my hand at stand up comedy, which gets pretty addicting once you get the hang of it. I've been performing with the Comedy Express (not to be confused with "Badass Xpress") which next comes to the Train View this coming Friday, starting at 10PM. As far as wrestling, I'm not really looking in those woods anymore but I'm still with NLP. That's pretty much it for now. I'll try to come on again regularly as I used to. Peace

You are slightly modern in your views about wrestling. You still have some traditional beliefs but you believe that the business must be more entertainment-based and must move away from the old and into the new.

    OWW Discrimination
I was denied a profile on obsessedwithwrestling.com under questionable circumstances. Below is the rant I posted on their forum:

I have been in the buisness for over 6 years mainly as a manager, and have paid my dues. But when I tried to apply to have a profile on this site, here is the Email I got back...

"Sorry I don't add profiles for indy managers, referees, ring announcers ETC.

    ... Brad Dykens"

Excuse me? Excuse me??? There are MANY indy managers listed on this site, some of which don't even belong in the buisness, but unfortunately they are. Aside from managing I've also wrestled and even held one title. Keep in mind I was very willing to pay the $25 fee for this site and I do have legit pics, so this is obviously discrimination and that's just wrong! So if you share the same concerns, I urge you all to Email Brad Dykens directly at oww@obsessedwithwrestling.com and tell him what you think of this. Thank you all for reading this.

Haven't posted here in a while!
Well, it's been a while since I've posted one of these things. Here's what's going on in the life of Barry Ace:

I'm currently filming Part 3 of the Jason's Day Off series. Originally, I wasn't planning to do it, but after Part 2 there was a high demand for Part 3, so I gotta give the people what they want. This one WILL be the last in that series, at least that's what I'm planning. Time for some original material. However, I'll leave the door open for more in case I change my mind and decide to do yet another. The first two, I released immediately after I finished them, this one will be released this friday (Friday the 13th)

    UPS still sucks.

Saw Jackass: Number 2 for the first time last night (I know, I know...) MUCH funnier than the first. Defenitely going to see it again (Hopefully Kimba doesn't forget again...)

    Upcoming Shows:
    10/28 - No Limit Pro - Roxbury
    11/18 - CPW vs NWA-NE - Saugus
    12/9 - CPW - Cambridge

I have a big BIG plan as far as the buisness goes: I'm not going to say it just yet (people who might steal the idea), but I think it'll rise to heights here in NE.

    CPW, F.t.L & more
Last night was the CPW show. It was pretty good, but I was disappointed about the battle royal, but the next spot was better: after the match between Sick and Twisted beat J Busta and Osirus, they beat up Cairo and called me out to join in for the last show. But I too got attacked and my shoes got jacked again. After they left I got up and was about to stomp Cairo myself, but the ref ruined it for me (grrr). I seem to be getting over pretty good as a face though, one woman at ringside, who I don't even know, hugged me like I was Shawn Michaels. After the show, I filmed some scenes for F.t.L, one of which was where I lick the ring canvas (with dried blood and sweat on it) I'm probably going to be the next Steve-O

Speaking of F.t.L, I got a message from Sin earlier today. He told me that Fruit of the Loom might have the FTL initials trademarked which means I'll have to change the name. I figured since it's mainly just me doing things, it should be just a Barry Ace video. So I figured maybe something like Barry Ace: The Master of Disillusion or Barry Ace: The 4:20 Pimp or maybe even Barry Ace: The Rarest M&^*%#$er alive. "Sgt. Pecker" even came to mind, but Jackie "The Jokeman" Martling (from Howard Stern) has a CD out with that name.

It's not just me is it? Those message board marks are getting stupider by the day, aren't they?

This Wednesday I leave for Florida and will be back on the 17th, so if I don't answer Emails or friend requests, that's why.

Also, a big congrats to F-O and Christian Sain for their CPW debuts last night!

Since the Pats aren't in the Super Bowl tonight, I'll have to go with the Steelers.

That's it for now I guess.

    An obscene call I got
I got an obscene call today from some puerto rican guy who dialed a wrong number, he said "I have to come clean with you, I've been fucking your wife." Keep in mind, I'm not even married. I said back to him "I have to come clean with you too, your mom's been blowing me so next time she kisses you, just think, her lips were on my dick."

    "Zer:0 H0ur 1" FINISHED!
My first venture into the music world is finally finished! Hopefully my new Sub-Zer:0 album, "Zer:0 H0ur 1" will be released soon. Originally, I planned to do a double album "Zer:0 H0ur 1" and "Zer:0 H0ur 2" together at the same time, but that would've been too much work. However "Zer:0 H0ur 2" is still possible, but the "Zer:0 H0ur 1" tracklist is as follows:

    1. AURAville
    2. Enter the Night
    3. Kung Fu Part II
    4. Almost Unplugged
    5. The Barry Ace Experience
    6. 2006
    7. F-Bomb
    8. Dante Darrk Presents
    9. Repetition
    10. Zer:0 H0ur

Barry Ace enters the music world????
I need a soundtrack for F.t.L but I don't want to pay royalties, so I remembered that I had some music software called "ACID" which I had used before but it took me forever to do just one song. I fooled around with some of the music files they had on there and as a result, I was able to compose not one, but TWO songs in just one fucking hour! Damn! Who knows, maybe I have a place in the music buisness as well as wrestling?

I already created a music profile on here with both songs uploaded, here you go. http://www.myspace.com/subzer02006

"You Can't Do That On Television"
I was watching "I love the 80's earlier, they did a thing on one of my favorite shows ever: You Can't do that on Television. It's too bad that show's no longer on, I was goofing around with a friend on AIM and made up my own skits about Barth, the firing range, and even the locker room jokes. I had him on the ground laughing, I should've been a writer for this show! Some might remember this show, for those who don't, this was the show that started the Nickelodeon slime craze. Whenever someone would say "I don't know" they'd get green slime poured on them. I always wanted to get slimed, it took me a loooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggg time but I (sort of) finally got my wish 4 years ago when I was at a Slime Time Live taping in Orlando. I was sitting in the second row and got a bit splattered with slime. I was like "Yes! I finally got slime on me!" I even tasted it, tasted pretty good, like lime pudding. Ok, who's ass do I have to kiss to get this show on DVD?????

Here's a pic of the sleeve of the jacket I was wearing at that STL taping. If you look closely you can see the slime stain still on it

    New BarryAce.com Intro video

Using youtube.com, I'm now able to put up videos on BarryAce.com without using much of the bandwidth. I also updated my schedule, added ECCW's link, and put up more pics. I would post it here, but it won't let me, so go to http://www.barryace.com to see it instead.

    JAPW, WAW, etc.
I just burnt my fucking knuckle on the side of the inside of my oven which was set at 400 degrees! Damn, that hurt!!!

Other than that, I went to the JAPW show in Braintree. It was a good show, maybe I should make a demo tape for them?

As of this past Friday, I have officially resigned from WAW. I hated to do it, but due to the fact that I'm also working for NWA-NE and CPW (and am working on getting booked in other places as well) it would interfere too much with me being able to work with them and I'm sure it would be a pain in the ass for Chris to have to go around my schedule and I don't want to be such. It's too bad I had to leave, I'll miss them all. If it wasn't for WAW, I probably wouldn't have improved, and for that I'll be thanking them until the day I'm in a wooden box. If I ever do get a promotion started, I'll defenitely use them.

Hard to belive it's almost the end of the year... It's almost like last New Years Eve was yesterday!

This was a pretty good year for me, with wrestling & F.t.L, but I thing 2006 will be better. Here's some pics of my burnt knuckle....

    Snake Eyes: Commando
You're Snake Eyes, the silent, mysterious commando
of the Joe Team. Few know your true background,
and there are some things in that which would
make any other man squeamish. You're the alpha
male of the comic book series, and Scarlett's
    love interest... lucky dog.

    Comments on CPW show
Pretty good show on Saturday. I managed Southern Extreme against the Dempseys (who were accompanied by Brian Cairo and Sweatboy) I grabbed the mic and gave what I think was the best promo I ever did. I was supposed to be a heel but I actually got cheered by the fans instead. Right when I said "ACEotica's in the Hiz-Hause!" the place lit up like a Christmas tree! (That's ok, I've been a face before.) I cost SE the shot at the CPW Tag Team titles at the next show when I accidentally tripped Widowmaker and they retaliated. Texas Outlaw gave me the spine buster, then they both gave me the Hart-Attack then Widowmaker Frog Splashed me. They left but Cairo and Sweatboy stayed around and decided to continue to kick me while I was down. Cairo gave me an elbowdrop from the top, Sweatboy choked me out in the corner and then gave me a baseball slide from the next corner. Cairo then motioned to the back and out came Quentin Michaels who clotheslined me. Cairo then montioned toward the crowd and in came Evan Siks and Matt Storm of Sick and Twisted. Siks gave me the DVD, then I got a Frog Splash from Matt Storm. They even took off my pimp shoes (I'm not really sure as to why though.) One final stomp from Cairo ended it as I was carried to the back. As soon as we went through the curtain, everyone congratulated me for taking all that shit. Most of them were like "Damn, I couldn't have taken all that!" I can't wait to see the tape. I also posted a pic of the aftermath in my pics section (not for the weak of heart lol)

    AWESOME FUCKING NIGHT!!!!!!!!
After a night like last night, where the hell do I begin??? I made an unexpected return to NWA-NE last night, working there for the first time in 3 years!!! (well, maybe two if you count their joint show in West Roxbury.) But it was a great night, it was like the old times being back in that locker room. I came out at ringside for the Tony Rumble Memorial battle royale. I was supposed to be, and was dressed as (driver) Sebastion, but I was announced as Barry Ace so I had to make a quick change. Luckilly I had my Jackass T-Shirt on underneath. I thought this would be a one night only return, but there's actually a good chance I could be back in full time again if things go good! I really wish I could've met Tony, but I've been familiar with who he was since I was 11. There would always be an article or story about him in Wrestling All Stars magazine. The only one I can really remember is when he went after the ring attendant who put on Tony's "Boston" helmet. I also used to get a kick out of his antics on IWCCW.
The unfortunate part of this is that if things do go according to plan, chances are I'll have to leave WAW. I don't want to, but since they run on Saturdays now, there will be a lot of scheduling conflicts, especailly since I'm also working for CPW (which by the way has a show, Collision Course 2005, tonight at the Lowell YMCA) and it just wouldn't be fair to WAW if they had to keep writing around my schedule. But nothing's etched in stone yet. I really wish other indys could run like WAW though.
